To All of My Bowlspace Friends

Friday, February 22, 2008, 02:36 PM CST [General]

I would appreciate it if you take the time to read my profile for those of you have not.  If u did you would know that I am a bowler that competes quite often.  I bowl in travel league and I avg a 214 as of now. I booked a 217 last year and so far I have shot a 792 high series this year.  I really don't get on bowlspace that much. I created this account bc I was bored.  I am not trying to hook or date anyone off this site so out of respect please don't attempt to talk to me in that way.  I am here to blog and talking bowling.  For those in the bowling world that know me personally they speak with me more often.  I would high recommend to anyone trying to improve their bowling game to subscribe to bowling this month magazine. You will learn alot and it will improve your game,  I just had the opportunity to watch the PBA World Championships in Indianapolis for a couple of days.  IF you're not willing to put in the time to work on your game don't expect to become a great bowler..  I would like to give a shout out to "Big Mike"

    Peace and Love

    Color Lines

Tuesday, June 26, 2007, 02:36 PM CST [General]

As you look at my face
Why can't you see past my race
Why do I have to be a black woman
    Or a black girl
How you view me is a concern
I am not a bitch nor am I a hoe
I am educated, sophisticated, compassionate and kind
How can we break down these color lines

When I talk, why do you expect to hear slang
And when I talk with common sense
    It drives you insane
Too bad I don't fit the stereotype
That you had portrayed in your mind
I am much more than my breasts, hips, and behind
How can we break down these color lines

Why is it that you feel the only way to relate to us
Is by what you see on videos or hear through music
When you walk past a black man
You clutch your purse as if he's going to steal it
Why do you continue to look at us
    As an inferior race
Or as people you need to put in their place
How can we break down these color lines

Why is everything associated with negativity
    Blamed on our race
But you have always wanted to sleep with us
Just so you can have a taste
Of what's soft, sensual, and sweet
I see you can't get enough of this dark meat
How can we break down these color lines

Then you turn around and call us
    Lazy, ignorant, and stupid
    We cleaned your house
While nursing, & raising your children
We plowed your fields, cooked all of your meals
Only for you to get rich
Because you wouldn't pay us with dollar bills
How can we break down these color lines

These are the only color lines you want to see
Because of your own insecurities you try to belittle me
Keeping me focused on the wrong thing
Out of site out of mind
    Is what I've been told
Because at the end of the rainbow
There is a pot of gold

We will break down these color lines with
    Unity, love, knowledge, unselfishness,
    Perseverance, and persistence equates power
What are you willing to do to make a change,
So that we can all view these color lines the same?

First of all I want to know
Where do you get off calling me
    A nappy headed ho

I don't know who you think you are
That you feel you had a pass
    To take it that far
You the nerve to go on your show
And call me a nappy headed ho

    If you are without sin
Let me see you cast the first stone
While you are on the mic
    I guess you felt like
    A king on his throne
That couldn't get knocked off the top
When will the degrading of women stop
Once again I want to know
Who are you calling a nappy headed ho

    The last time I checked
It only took one drop of blood
    To be one of us
And this will be the last time
You use your mic to exploit us
If you check your own background
    It might just show
That you are a nappy headed ho

I guess next time you will think
    Before you speak
    Tryin to act hood like
    You one of the homies
    From the street
    If you only knew
You were just one step away
    From getting beat
    You betta watch your back
    While you're on the street
    And one last thing
    Before you go
    Don't you eva, eva
    Eva, eva, eva, eva
Call me a nappy headed ho.

She walked in & she offered me a long-legged sip of liquor
In a slender vessel she poured a generous portion
She whispered something that resembled explicit
She said to stir her mixture with vigor
    Until she spilled her liquid
I don't waste no wine--she opened wide and I put the cork in
She got on my wagon and rode as if inebriation was her destination
She said something that resembled exhausted
She said she was drunk when she came.............
